Cost to ship your bike on an airline
Below I have listed the airline baggage policy that would pertain to bikes. These policy's are right from the airlines web site. As you can see I have listed airlines, what would be considered oversized bags. Plus the over limit policy's and one way fee's. The linear inches are computed by adding (length+height+width) if you add them up that would be the total linear inches. Something else to remember, each bike box is inspected by TSA. If they do not repack the bike correctly and leave loose parts then you will get scratches or damage on your bike. Good luck on the damage claim.

The following are some low estimates if flying with your bike.

Cost to ship with TriSport Express
TriSport Express offers pick-up service at any location convenient TO YOU, the customer!! TriSport Express prices are based on the distance from the pick-up location to the selected event (See pricing chart below). For example, if you live in Tampa, FL and the event is in Atlanta, GA the distance is 475 miles. This puts you in the 599 miles or less group. Your total cost would be $199.00. This price includes one roundtrip bike and gear transport.

bag heavier than 50 pounds and larger than 62 liner inches (length+width+height)
will run $300.00. The cost to rent a vehicle large enough to transport the bike
box would be an extra $30.00 or more a day. Mechanic to reassemble bike
twice $70.00 total.
